2007 Season
Competed in seven races for the Owls in the 2007 season...turned in her season best time at the Tiger Invitational, where she completed the 5k in 19:52.09...had her best finish of the season in the 3k at the JSU Opener as she took 11th place with a time of 12:03...completed the 5k at the Mercer Atlanta Invitational in 22:23.33 for 13th place...posted a time of 19:35 for 13th place at the JSU Foothills Invite...ran the 5k at the Disney Cross Country Classic in 20:31.55...came in 32nd at the GSU Invitational (21:11.32)...completed the 5k at the Atlantic Sun Conference Championship with a time of 20:39.

Prep Career
Comes to Kennesaw State from Van Buren HS in Arkansas where she competed in both cross country and track...during High School was named to the All-Star team in her county and was an All-State runner in 2005...Lorena was also a track athlete for the Owls before joining the cross country team...she competed in both long and mid-distance events.

Was born Lorena Noel Jaime in Decatur, Ga.. ..is the daughter of Rafael Jaime and Mary Beth Benham...has a twin sister named Eleste, five brothers: Rafael (18), Daniel (18), Gerardo (12), David (10), Ricky (9) and one younger sister Leslie (19).
