In 2007 Gibson quickly became an important part of the cross country program...at the JSU Foothills Invite she won her first collegiate race with a season best time of 18:10...was part of KSU's sweep of the top four places at the Mercer-Atlanta Invitational as she finished the race in third place with a time of 21:21.43...came in 13th place at GSU Invitational (20:13.00)...completed the 5k at the A-Sun Conference Championship with a time of 20:03...turned in a time of 19:35.42 at the Disney World Cross Country Classic...posted a time of 19:21.34 at the Tiger Invitational.

Prep Career
Kristen comes to Kennesaw State after a successful cross country and track career at South Forsyth High School...she is the former Forsyth County Cross Country Champion...was also the 2003 Texas State Champion in the 1600m before moving to Georgia...her personal best for the mile is 5:08.
