KENNESAW, Ga.--Kennesaw State's women's track and field program has added a sixth recruit to its class for 2008-09. Assistant coach Devin West is pleased to announce the addition of Suzzette Van-Lare, a Georgia All-State performer in the triple jump.

"Suzzette is a great addition to our stellar list of signees for this upcoming season," said Coach West. "She is a great student and a versatile athletice that can help us in many ways."

Van-Lare comes to KSU out of Lassiter High School. The Cobb County product had the eighth-best triple jump in the state last year at 37 feet-11 inches. That distance would have placed Van-Lare third at the Atlantic Sun Track and Field Championships this past season.

Van-Lare also ran the 300m hurdles, clocking a personal-best time of 45.94 seconds.
