2008 Season
Placed first in the indoor 3k at the Tar Heel Invitational with a time of 10:36.03... named Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week by the Atlantic Sun for her performance at the Tar Heel Invitational... Took first in the unseeded indoor 3k at the Tiger Invitational with a time of 10:25.57

2007 Season
Sutton had a successful 2007 track & field season...after missing the Indoor season due to a stress facture finished third at the A-Sun Outdoor Championship for the 5k race with a time of 18:05.5 and finished second in the 10k race with a time of 38:03.08...finished first in the 5k at the Golden Knight Twilight Invitational...came in seventh at the 2007 Spec Town National Team Invitational with a time of 17:50.91 in the women's 5k race.

2006 Season
Had a stellar freshman year with the Owls, finished third in the 3k at the Indoor Conference Championship...at the Outdoor Conference Championship finished second in the 10k and third in the 10k...helped set school records in the distance medley and the 4x1500m relay.

Prep Career
Was the Paulding County Champion, Regional Runner-up and finished 12th in the GHSA State Championships with a time of 20:30.10...was named Most Valuable Runner at East Paulding HS...ran a 21:32 in the 2004 Clara Bowl on September 4, finishing 79th out of 449 runners.

Was born Erin Nichole Sutton in Austell, Georgia...is the daughter of Danny and Kathy Sutton...has one sibling Nathan (26)...Erin is majoring in Biology.
