Palider was a consistent contributor for the Owls during her freshman campaign, posting an 11-17 overall record, highlighted by a 6-3 mark in tournament competition...Won her first collegiate singles match in her second-ever try, downing Lipscomb's Caitlin Khouri 2-6, 7-6, 10-8 in the "B" Flight consolation bracket at the season-opening UTC/Steve Baras Championship...Also won her first-ever collegiate doubles match, partnering with fellow freshman Ayano Tanaka to down Lipscomb's Claire Landry and Olivia Ellis 8-5 in the first round of UTC's tournament...Defeated Alabama's Elise Wettermark 7-6, 1-6, 10-8 in the consolation bracket of the ITA Women's Southeast Regional in Athens, Ga. to begin a five-match winning streak...Earned the Owls only tournament championship after cruising through four opponents in straight-sets to win the "C" singles flight at the UNW-Wilmington Invitational in November...Capped off her victory at UNCW with a 6-2, 6-3 win over East Tennessee State's Vita Moskaliova in the final...Earned her first A-Sun dual match singles win with a 6-3, 6-1 victory over Lipscomb's No. 2 player Kara Jackson...Finished the season on a two-match winning streak after failing to drop a single game in wins over Alabama State's Maria Hunter and North Carolina Central's Stephanie Lee.
