2007 Season
Was a First Team All-Atlantic Sun Conference selection...missed 20 games due to a shoulder injury...started in 36 of 44 games in which she appeared...made 23 starts in right field and 13 starts as designated hitter...had a pair of six-game hitting streaks during the year (3/11-3/18 and 4/18-4/25)...went 8-for-22 (.367) during her first hitting streak and then went 11-for-21 (.524) over her next six-game streak...had 14 multi-hit games and two multi-RBI games...finished second in hitting with a .383 mark...once she got her first hit, her batting average never dipped below .324 all season...had four three-hit games this season...went 3-for-4 with a double and two runs batted in against ETSU (3/21)...was 3-for-4 with a home run against Stetson (4/6)...went 3-for-3 with a double and three runs batted in during the first game of a doubleheader versus Belmont (4/13)...finished the day going 5-for-7...had a 3-for-4 day against North Florida (4/21)...hit first home run of the season against Gardner-Webb (3/24)...both of home runs were solo shots...had a pair of doubles in a 2-for-3 performance against Jacksonville (4/20)...went 5-for-12 in the KSU Invitational with multi-hit games against South Dakota State and Cal State Bakersfield...hit a phenomenal .443 (27-for-61) in A-Sun games, hitting in 15-of-18 conference games....led the a-Sun with 27 conference hits.
2006 Season
Appeared in and started in center field in all 55 games...was a First Team All-Atlantic Sun Conference selection...finished in the top 10 in eight A-Sun categories including; batting (3rd), slugging percentage (8th), runs (3rd), hits (3rd), doubles (3rd), total bases (4th), plate appearances (5th), at-bats (2nd)...finished the season second in batting (.356) and led Kennesaw State in at-bats (191), runs scored (44) and doubles (12)...began the season by going 5-for-8 in a doubleheader against Georgia Southern (2/11)...homered, drove in six runs and scored four times in the Owls 11-7, 6-3 sweep...finished the year with 19 multi-hit games, just one behind Keri McKee...season started with a four-game hitting streak and hit safely in nine of her first 10 games...had a season-high 11-game hitting streak (3/5-3/15), the teams third longest of the season...during the streak she hit .524 (22-for-42) with eight multi-hit games...had a streak of six consecutive multi-hit games (3/9-3/12)...had seven, three-hit games including back-to-back games against Furman (3/9) and Alcorn State (3/10)...went 3-for-4 with a pair of home runs and four runs batted in a win over UNC Greensboro (3/4)...also homered in the previous game against UNC Wilmington, marking the only time she hit home runs in consecutive games.
2005 Season
As a red-shirt freshman she was seventh on the team in hitting with a .281 mark...in 54 games she scored 27 runs with 41 hits in 146 at bats...she recorded eight doubles, three triples and two home runs...she had an impressive 25 runs batted in...had a slugging percentage of .418 and her on-base percentage was .323...she is a true contact hitter, in her 146 at bats, she struck out only nine times and walked seven times...had eight games with multiple hits...in a double header in Carrollton, Georgia against West Georgia on April 12, she had the Owls finest offensive performance of the season...in the two games combined, she hit for the cycle with eight runs batted in...in the first game she went 2-for-3 with a double and a triple while scoring a run and driving in two...in the second game, she recorded four hits, her first home run of the season and three singles...she also scored a pair of runs and drove in six more to help the Owls sweep the Braves, 4-2 and 9-2...she was a perfect 1-for-1 in stolen bases...with the bases loaded she was a awesome, with four hits in 11 at bats (.364)...in 78 at bats with runners on, she hit an impressive .321 with 25 hits...Kelly was also a pitcher for the Owls last season, making three appearances in the circle with an impressive 0.95 ERA in 7.1 innings pitched...she faced 28 batters and they hit just .214 against her...she recorded two strikeouts and allowed only one walk...allowed only one run on six hits for the year...made one start for the Owls in her final appearance on March 10 in Hawai'i, a 4-1 win over Chaminade...in her first appearance of the year she threw one inning allowing only one hit and recorded one strike out in the 11-0 win over Southern Indiana on February 25...in her second appearance she threw two perfect innings in an 8-0 win over Chaminade on March 5.
2004 Season
Had her freshman season cut short when she broke her nose in a steal attempt against Nebraska-Omaha on February 27...began the season in strong fashion, hitting .414 as she earned a starting spot in the Owls outfield during the fall campaign...started in all 10 games in which she played...started six times in center field and twice in both right field and left field...hit in nine of the 10 games in which she played, including a career-high six-game hitting streak from February 8-21 in which she hit .471 (8-for-17) with two runs batted in and seven runs scored...her first collegiate hit was a special one as she drove in the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning in the Owls opening day 3-2 win over Tusculum in the first game ever at the Bobbie Bailey Complex...had three multi-hit games including a 2-for-3 game against Anderson in which drove in a run and scored three times in KSU's 13-0 win...she had a 2-for-2 day in an 8-3 win over Belmont Abbey on February 11...the game also saw her get her first college extra-base hit, a triple to right field...went 2-for-4 and drove in the game tying run with a bases loaded single in the bottom of the seventh inning of the Owls 4-3 win over Southern Indiana on February 27...had a pair of stolen bases and scored three times in the Owls 8-0 win over Limestone on February 21.
Prep Career
Came to Kennesaw State after a four-year career at South Gwinnett High School...she was a First Team All-State selection in 2002...was named First Team All-County by the Gwinnett Daily Post...selected the 2001 Gwinnett County Player of the Year and was a member of the North Georgia High School All-Star Team...was a four-year varsity letter winner and was named Most Valuable Player and Best Pitcher in her sophomore season...received the Best Pitcher Award again in her junior year and was the 2002 Scholar Athlete of the Year winner...finished her high school career with a .412 batting average...compiled a 50-11 record with a 0.72 earned run average during her prep career.
