2007 Season
Gaughan remained consistant as one of the Owls top defenders...played and started in all 21 games as a sophomore...had two assists and two points...named to the Atlantic Sun 2nd Team All-Conference...had her first shot on goal of the season in a 3-2 win over Alabama (9/7)...had her first assist of the season when the Owls defeated Florida Gulf Coast 3-2 (9/30)...had a season high two shots against Lipscomb (10/14)...tallied a shot on goal in a 2-0 win over USC Upstate...had one shot twice in a 1-0 Campbell victory (10/25) and in a win over ETSU 2-0 (11/8).

2006 Season
One of the top defenders for the Owls as a freshman, she started 10 of the 14 games...scored one goal and assisted two for a total of four points...named as an Atlantic Sun All Freshman Team selection...helped anchor the KSU defense that allowed only eight goals all season...her best offensive game came against Campbell when she scored the game winning goal for the 1-0 win (10/12)...posted a .500 shot on goal percentage...had an assist in the 3-1 win over Jacksonville with a through ball for the game winning goal (9/28)...posted an assist to Annie Phillips for the Owls' second goal in the 3-0 win over North Florida (9/30)...took a season high two shots on two occasions, the first versus West Georgia (9/14) and again in the Campbell game.

Prep Career
Played her high school career at McEachern High School where she led her team to the second round of the state playoffs in 2006...was a four-time All-Cobb County Honorable Mention selection...was named team Most Valuable Player in her junior year...was a two-time team captain, earning the honor in both her junior and senior seasons...was a four-year varsity starter, played her first season at defender before moving to center midfield for her last three high school campaigns...enjoyed a successful club career playing for Cobb Futbol Club `88 where she was a five-year team captain...in 2004 she scored the game-winning goal in a semifinal win over Tophat FC...led the CFC to the regionals in Dallas, Texas.
