2007-08 Season
Fitzgerald was one of the leaders of the Owls squad during the 2007-08 season, finishing second on the team with a 78.9 scoring average...She recorded three top 20 finishes on the season, led by a tie for fifth at the spring-opening Baja Invitational where she shot a 234 (81-77-76)...Fitzgerald finished in the top half of the field in six of the Owls nine events compiling a 437-278 win/loss record ...En route to the Owls lowest 36 hole total (149), Fitzgerald shot a career-low 73 in the first round with a final round 76 to finish in a tie for ninth at the Draper Intercollegiate...Fitzgerald advanced up the leader board with a second round 75 at the Larry Nelson Collegiate Invitational, eventually finishing tied for 24th at 240 (86-75-79)...Abby was awarded the "Coach's Award" for the 2007-08 season, this award is given to the player that exhibits the best work ethic, determination and improvement over the season.

2006-07 Season
Abby played five rounds and started two events for the Owls in her freshman season... Finished 27th at the Hatter Fall Classic...Posted a two-round score of 176 at the Anne Rhodes/ Birmingham Southern Shootout on February 26 and 27 in her second tournament of the year.

Prep Career
Graduated from Lee County (Ga.) High School in 2006... Won back-to-back Albany Amateur Championships...Won two PGA Junior titles.
