2007 Season
KSU's top runner in 2007, Solla led the Owls in four meets...took second place at the Mercer-Atlanta Invitational (20:27.77)...finished fourth at the JSU Foothills Invite with a time of 26:03.8...completed the 5k in 15:20 at the JSU Opener...ran 27:24.48 at the GSU Invitational for eighth place...led the Owls at the Disney World Cross Country Classic as he took ninth place (25:44.22)...ran 26:11.15 at the Tiger Invitational...won All-Conference Honors with a ninth place finish at the Atlantic Sun Conference Championship.

2006 Season
Solla had a successful freshman season during which he competed in all seven Cross Country meets for the Owls...selected to the Atlantic Sun Conference All-Freshman Team...led the Owls to a seven position sweep at the 2006 Mercer Invitational with a season best time of 20:47.3...finished 31st at the 2006 Crimson Classic with a time of 27:01.89 for the 8k run...came in 39th at the Auburn University Invitational with a time of 25:18.53 in the 8k run...finished eighth at the Gardner-Webb Duals with a time of 19:47.0...finished 12th at the Furman Invitational with a time of 26:36...posted a time of 26:48 at the A-Sun Conference Championship for an 11th place finish.

Prep Career
Peikko came to Kennesaw State after a successful prep career in Helsinki, Finland...finished seventh at the Nordic Championships in 2006...placed second in the 3K at the 2006 Finnish Indoor Championships.

Was born Peikko Solla in Sambuca, Italy...is the son of Antonio and Anna Solla...has four siblings Elfo, Duende, Iaui and Ada...Peikko is majoring in Business.
