2007 Season
An 800m dash track specialist, Catalano earned a place on the Cross Country "A" team as he competed in six races...turned in a season best time in the 6k at the Mercer Atlanta Invitational as he took 18th place with a time of 22:44.32.

Prep Career
Gianni comes to Kennesaw State after a successful career at Amherst Steele High School in Amherst, Ohio...came in second at the Ohio State Track and Field Championships in 800 meter race...he was named MVP twice for his team in high school for his sophomore and senior seasons...in 2006, his squad gained their third track conference championship...named to the All-Conference Track Team in 2006.

Was born Gianni Paola Catalano in Amherst, Ohio...is the son of Bruno and Carol Catalano...he has two older brothers Bruno (22) and Peter (21)...also played basketball and football during high school...Gianni is majoring in Exercise and Health Science.
