2007 Season
Had an outstanding sophomore season as he led the Owls in two races...highest scorer for the team, at Auburn's Tiger invitational, where he completed the 8k course with a personal record of 25:48.90...led the team to a second place finish at the GSU Invitational as he took sixth place with a time of 27:13.26...had his best finish at the Mercer-Atlanta Invitational, where he took third place with a time of 20:57.51...posted a time of 26:28 for seventh place at the JSU Foothills Invite...came in 15th place at the JSU Opener (15:46)...placed 21st at the Atlantic Sun Conference Championship with a time of 26:47.
2006 Season
Competed in all seven meets for the Owls during his freshmen year...placed sixth at the Mercer Invitational with a time of 21:51.4, finishing as part of the Owls' top seven position sweep for the event...had his season-best run at the Gardner-Webb XC Duals, placing 23rd overall with a time of 20:51.0 for the 6k run...finished 29th at the 2006 Atlantic Sun Conference Championships with a time of 27:57 for the 8k meet.
Prep Career
While at Thomas Co. Central, Nathan set his personal best record of 16:22 in the 5K...was named Cross Country MVP three times...was awarded the coach's award and was a 12-time state qualifier...an excellent student, Nathan was a member of the National Honor's Society Secretary, National Honor Roll, Who's Who Among American High School Students, French Club and was his Class Secretary.
