2007-2008 Season
Indoor...A distance specialist, Solla had a successful indoor season that included a third place finish in the 3k (8:36.96) at the A-Sun Championship...finished third in the 5k as he ran a season best 15:10.95 at UNC's Texas Roadhouse Invitational...took fourth place in the 3k at the Tar Heel Invitational as he completed the race in 9:03.64.

2006-2007 Season
Was a distance runner for the Owls during his freshman season...finished first with a time of 15:34.44 for the 5k at the UNC Opener...finished seventh at the 2007 Niswonger Invitational in the 3000 meter (8:40.82)...came second in the 5k at the UNC Chapel Hill Invite (15:11.06)...placed fifth at the 2007 A-Sun Indoor Championship in the 5k (15:08.04)...came in second in 3k run at Conference as he crossed the finish line .03 seconds behind the winner...posted a time of 15:41.30 in the 5k at the Clemson Relays for second place.

Prep Career
Came to Kennesaw State after a successful prep career in Helsinki, Finland...finished seventh at the Nordic Championships in 2006...placed second in the 3k at the 2006 Finnish Indoor Championships.

Personal
Was born Peikko Solla in Sambuca, Italy...is the son of Antonio and Anna Solla...has four siblings Elfo, Duende, Iaul and Ada...Peikko is majoring in Business.
