2007 Season
Luna competed as a mid-distance runner for the Owls in his freshman season...came in tenth for the one mile run at the 2006 UNC Opener with a time of 4:40.97...posted a time of 4:30.04 for the mile at the UNC Chapel Hill Invite...finished 12th in the mile at the A-Sun Indoor Conference Championship with a time of 4:39.63...came in eighth with a time of 1:58.93 for the 800 meter run at A-Sun Outdoor Championship...ran a personal best in the 800m (1:57.83) at the UCF Golden Knight Twilight Invitational...had a season best run in the 1500m race (4:19) at the JSU Springtime Invitational.

Prep Career
Set a personal best record of 17:13 in the 5K, while at North Gwinnett, also set the school record in the 1,600 with a time of 4:32...received the Coach's Award and the Most Improved at NGHS.

Was born Brett Alan Luna in Atlanta, Ga. ...is the son of Richard and Georgette Luna...has three siblings Jordan, Jessica and Zach...Brett is majoring in Exercise and Health Science.
