2006-07 Season
Played in and started all but one of Kennesaw State's 31 games...was a Second Team All-Atlantic-Sun selection...was Kennesaw State's leading scorer and finished sixth in the A-Sun with a 14.7 ppg mark...finished sixth in the conference in offensive rebounds with 76...led the league in three pointers made (78) and finished third in free-throw percentage (.822), making 60-of-73 attempts...averaged 28.7 minutes per game...led the Owls in three pointers attempted (239) and three pointers made...finished second on the squad in rebounds (163) and rebounds per game (5.4)...he led the Owls in scoring 12 times, with his season-high 26 coming in a 78-66 overtime loss to ESTU (1/19/07)...he recorded his lone double-double of the season in the same contest by pulling down 15 total rebounds...became a member of Kennesaw State's 1,000 point club versus Campbell (2/2/07) when he scored a team-high 21 points to go along with his six rebounds and season-high six steals...he had six games in which he scored 20 or more points and he scored in double digits in 23 of the Owls 31 games...pulled down six rebounds and scored 25 points including dropping in five threes in five minutes to start the second half versus George Washington (11/21/06)...had a stretch of 10 consecutive games from 12/22/06 thru 1/15/07 in which he scored in double digits, leading the Owls to a 6-4 record, including two heartbreaking overtime losses, over that span...scored in double digits in his last four games including 19 point, eight rebound performances against ETSU (2/17/07) and Mercer (2/22/07)...pulled down seven offensive rebounds to go along with his 10 points against Belmont (1/4/07)...made a team single game-high six three pointers on three different occasions with the first coming against Mercer (12/02/07), the second against Alabama State (12/30/06) and the third versus UGA (2/14/07)...made 4-of-4 free throws on two different occasions, once in a loss to Stetson (11/30/06) and the second against UTC (12/29/06)...had a season-high four assists in a 70-68 loss to FIU (11/25/06)...shot over 43 percent (152-for-353) from the field...scored in all but one of the games in which he appeared this season.
2005-06 Season
As a sophomore, was the Owls' second-leading scorer at 15.5 points per game...led KSU with 6.4 rebounds per contest...started and played in all but one game during his sophomore season...named Atlantic Sun Player of the Week (12/5/05) after averaging 23.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 3.5 steals in home wins against Lipscomb and Belmont (12/1/05 and 12/3/05)...ended the year third in the A-Sun with 2.50 three-pointers made per game...finished tied for 13th in the A-Sun in scoring and 12th in rebounding...scored in double figures in all but seven games all year, including a stretch of seven games in a row from 12/30/05 to 1/19/06...led the Owls with a .352 three-point percentage and was KSU's leading scorer in 10 of the Owls' 29 games...his 70 three-pointers stand fifth best all-time in a single season in KSU history...notched a career-high 31 points twice, first versus Stetson (1/30/06) and then again at Florida Atlantic (2/18/06)...twice grabbed his career-high in rebounds (14) against Clark Atlanta (11/26/05) and East Tennessee State (1/12/06)...was 9-of-12 from the floor and 6-of-7 from behind the three-point line in a 26-point performance against Belmont (12/3/05)...recorded first career double-double with 21-point, 14-rebound game in Owls' victory over ETSU (1/12/06)...scored in every game in which he played in '05-'06.
2004-05 Season
Ronell quickly became one of the most exciting players on the Owls during his freshman season when he averaged 9.1 points and 4.5 rebounds per game ..appeared in 28 games, starting nine, and averaged 24.4 minutes per contest...started in his first two collegiate games against Benedict and Reinhardt...scored five points in both of his two starts, shooting 50 percent from the floor...shot 44.3 percent from the field, 34.1 percent from behind the three-point line, and 57.1 percent from the free throw line...dished out 22 assists and committed 27 turnovers...had 13 double-digit scoring games...scored a season-high 22 points on 6-for-18 shooting, including hitting a career-high five three-pointers against Francis Marion (1/29/05)...scored 16 points and grabbed six rebounds against Lander (2/5/05)...was only one rebound away from his first career double-double against Belmont Abbey (1/1/05) when he scored 11 points and ripped down nine rebounds...had his first collegiate double-digit scoring game in his third game when he scored 10 points against Maryville (Mo.) in Dalton, Ga. (11/23/04)...had a run of six consecutive starts from 1/26/04-2/9/05 during which he averaged nearly 12 points per game...scored in 28 of 29 games played last season, only failing to score against Clayton State (2/9/05).
Prep Career
Ronell came to Kennesaw State after a successful prep career at Statesboro High School...during his senior year he averaged 20 points per game and grabbed an impressive 12 rebounds per contest en route to being a Second Team All-Region selection...he was also named the Co-Most Valuable Player of the 2004 Georgia-South Carolina All-Star Game after a game-high 16-point performance...was named to the First-Team All-Tournament Team at the Arby's Classic in Tennessee...was named MVP of his high school team...in his junior year, he averaged 16 points per game and added seven boards a game while earning a Second Team All-Region selection...was a two-time WTOC Player of the Week recipient...won a pair of slam dunk championships.
