2005-06 Season: The '05-'06 season was his first back after spending two years on a Mormon Mission in Denver, Colorado...started 25 of the 26 games in which he played, missing three games due to injury near the end of the season...led the Owls in scoring (16.6 ppg) and assists (6.1 apg)...his 16.6 points per game is the best scoring average by an Owls player since Nick Patrick (16.8 ppg) in the 1999-00 season...finished first in the A-Sun in assists, fifth in points and ninth in free-throw percentage (.797)...selected the A-Sun Player of the Week (1/16/06) after averaging 21.3 points and 6.0 assists in wins over Campbell, East Tennessee State and North Florida...led the Owls in minutes played, averaging 36.1 minutes per game...posted 20 double-figure games including a career-high 34 points in a win over Belmont (12/5/05)...in that game, he was 16-of-19 from the free-throw line and grabbed a season-high six rebounds...ended the season with 126 free-throws made, which is second-best all-time at KSU...his 159 assists are seventh-best in KSU history for a single season...posted nine straight games from January 6 until January 28 where he scored at least 12 points in each game...notched his first career double-double with 18 points and a career-high 14 assists in the Owls' win over Jacksonville (1/16/06)...had his second double-double with a 21-point, 10 assist game versus Mercer (1/28/06)...on five different occasions made a season-high four three-point field goals...was a perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line in a 23-point, three assist win over Clark Atlanta (11/26/05)...made a season-high nine field goals en route to a 24-point, seven assist performance against ETSU (1/12/06)...started the season off with 29 points and six assists in the Owls' opening round game against Denver in the Top of the World Classis in Anchorage, Alaska and was named to the All-Tournament Team (11/18/05). 2001-02 Season: Played and started in all 30 games for the Owls after transferring to Kennesaw State from Western Kentucky where he was a member of its NCAA tournament team...led the Owls to the first of four consecutive 20-win seasons...led the Owls in scoring (15.1 ppg) and assists (144) and three-pointers (80) as he earned All-Peach Belt Conference honors as well as All-Tournament Team accolades...had eight games in which he scored more than 20 points, including a then career-high 28 points against Montevallo (11/28/01)...during that night he made a Kennesaw State record 11 consecutive free-throws and was 7-of-12 from the floor...made at least one three pointer in 28-of-30 games...had multiple three-pointers in 20-of-30 games...scored 27 points and connected on a career-best seven three pointers against Columbus State (2/6/02)...the game was the tail end of back-to-back 20-point games...scored 21 points in the previous game against Armstrong Atlantic when he made a trio of three-pointers and also added nine assists...a 78.9 percent free-throw shooter, he made 14-of-18 from the charity stripe in a 22-point performance against Lander at the Spec Landrum Center. 2000-01 Season: Played as a reserve for Western Kentucky during the Hilltoppers' trip to the NCAA Tournament...scored a season-high seven points against Savannah State on (12/18/00)...scored five points against Asbury (1/3/01)...finished the year averaging 1.3 points per game in 12 contests...made 75 percent of his free throws, going 12-for-16. Prep Career: Golden was a Nike All-American while playing at Timpanogos High School in Utah...was a First Team All-State selection...established a school-record by averaging 19.8 points per game during his senior year.
