Named to the A-Sun All-Freshman Team...Started in four games and made 12 relief appearances...Made his collegiate debut in the ninth inning against Samford on February 22; gave up no runs on one hit and struck out two batters...Earned his first collegiate win in a start against Georgia Southern on April 2 in which he pitched 3.0 innings giving up two earned runs on five hits and striking out two batters...Pitched his longest outing in a start against UAB on April 15 going 5.0 innings giving up one earned run on no hits and striking out a season high ten batters...Picked up his first conference win and second win of the season against Mercer on April 19 after pitching 4.2 innings of relief giving up two earned runs on four hits and striking out three batters...Was 1-1 with a 4.50 ERA in 18.0 innings pitched against conference opponents...Held opposing batters to .284...Was fifth on the team with 41 strikeouts, tied for third with 16 appearances, and third with 13 batters struck out looking.
