2007 Season
Made six appearances, starting in all six before being redshirted by an injury...Pitched five innings against Samford on 2/24 giving up only three hits and striking out one...Threw 5.2 innings against UAB giving up only three runs and striking out five in his longest outing of the season...Pitched a total of 26.1 innings and ended the season with a 4.44 ERA and 17 strikeouts.
2006 Season
Micah started in eight of the 16 games he appeared in...Threw a season high 7.0 innings, striking out four batters against conference opponent, Campbell on May 20...Best start of the season came against Samford on April 26 where he threw 6.0 innings, striking out six and giving up no earned runs...Tied his season high six strikeouts while picking up his first win in a start against Alabama State on March 21...Had a span of five games between April 4 and May 7 where he gave up only two earned runs and struck out 11 batters in 21.1 innings pitched...Finished the season with a 5.34 ERA and recorded 35 strikeouts in 57.1 innings pitched.
Prep Career
Micah came to Kennesaw State after a successful season at Madison County High School in Danielsville, Georgia where he was named team MVP and won the Best Hitter award for the Red Raiders...Went a perfect 4-for-4 against Habersham Central...Also had success on the mound for Madison County, throwing a complete game in a win over Heritage High School...Was selected by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 38th round of the 2005 Amateur Baseball Draft.
