2006 Season Ray appeared in 37 of the Owls' 56 games, 31 of which he started in...Went 2-for-3 with a double in a game against Stetson on April 30...Had a season high two RBI against Alabama State on March 21...Went 2-for-4 against Anderson College on March 4...Went 2-for-4 against conference opponent Lipscomb on April 1...Finished the season with a .178 (16-for-90) batting average, five doubles, 13 runs scored and eight RBI. 2005 Season Ray transferred from Chattahoochee Valley College...Originally signed out of high school to play with the Owls and was redshirted in the 2003 season before transferring to CVCC...Hit an even .300 (64-for-213) with 11 doubles, two home runs, and 21 RBI in his two year career with the Pirates...Last season he hit .302 (45-for-149) with six doubles, one triple, two home runs and 16 RBI in 49 games...Was named to the 2005 All-Central Division First Team...In his first season with CVCC, he hit .297 (19-for-64) with five doubles and five RBI.
