2006 Season
Matt played in all 56 games for the Owls...Went 4-for-5 and 3-for-4 with two RBI in a double header against Gardner-Webb on March 11...Went 4-for-5 with two doubles against East Tennessee State on April 7...Hit his first homerun of the season on March 11 against Gardner-Webb...Had a 20 game hitting streak from March 25 until April 29...Had a season high three RBI against Anderson College on March 4...Went 4-for-5 with an RBI against University of Georgia on March 14...Finished the season with a .335 (76-for-227) batting average with four homeruns, 76 hits, 18 doubles, 43 runs scored, nine stolen bases and 27 RBI.
2005 Season
Matt came to Kennesaw State as a trasnfer from Lake City Community College in Lake City, Fla. ...Was selected to the All-Conference Second Team in 2005 after hitting .346 (72-for-208) with 18 doubles, one home run and 28 RBI...Had a slugging percentage of .466 and an on-base percentage of .426...Struck out only 10 times in 208 at bats...Played and started in all 52 games for the Timberwolves last season.
