My staff and I would like to welcome you to Kennesaw State University and our sports medicine facilities. We hope that everyone has a healthy and successful year.

If your team is traveling without an ATC, please contact us in advance, so that we can make the necessary arrangements. Please make sure that you send your team with the appropriate supplies and treatment instructions.

Facilities:
KSU has 2 athletic training rooms. Soccer, baseball and softball utilize the athletic training room in the Bailey Athletic Complex. The building is located between the baseball and softball stadiums on Kennesaw State University Drive. The athletic training room (rm. # 107) is located on the first floor on the right hand side of the back hallway.
All other sports utilize the Convocation Center Athletic Training Room. This building is located on the left hand side of Frey Road. The athletic training room (rm. # 1009) is located on the ground floor in the southwest corner of the building.

Game Day Coverage/Supplies:

Basketball/Volleyball:

• An ATC will be in attendance at all home basketball/volleyball games. The team physician will be present or on-call.
• The athletic training room will be available 2 hours prior to game time. You may use the training room for treatments.
• Each bench will have a 10-gallon cooler of water, cups, an ice chest with bags, 5 bench towels and a biohazard container.
• Visiting locker rooms are located at the north end of the basketball court. The locker rooms will have a 5-gallon cooler of water, cups, a hydrocollator and a taping table.

Soccer:

• An ATC will be in attendance at all home soccer games. The team physician will be on-call.
• The athletic training room will be available 2 hours prior to game time. You may use the training room for treatments and taping.
• Each bench will have a 10-gallon cooler of water, cups and an ice chest with bags.
• Visiting teams do not have easy access to a locker room at the soccer field. Locker rooms in the Convocation Center will be made available upon request to the KSU soccer coaching staff. Locker room requests should be made prior to your arrival at KSU.

Baseball:

• An ATC will be in attendance at all home baseball games. The team physician will be on-call.
• The athletic training room will be available 2 hours prior to game time. You may use the training room for treatments and taping. If you need access to the training room earlier, please contact the Bailey Training Room (678-797-2104).
• A water fountain is provided in the dugout. Ice will be available in the home dugout.
• Visiting teams do not have easy access to a locker room at the baseball field. Locker rooms in the Convocation Center will be made available upon request to the KSU baseball coaching staff. Locker room requests should be made prior to your arrival at KSU.

Softball:

• An ATC will be in attendance at all home softball games. The team physician will be on-call.
• The athletic training room will be available 2 hours prior to game time. You may use the training room for treatments and taping.
• Each dugout will have a 10-gallon cooler of water, cups and an ice chest with bags.
• Visiting teams do not have easy access to a locker room at the softball field. Locker rooms in the Convocation Center will be made available upon request to the KSU softball coaching staff. Locker room requests should be made prior to your arrival at KSU.

Tennis:

• An ATC will be in attendance at all home tennis matches. The team physician will be on-call.
• Pre-match treatments will be performed at the Convocation Center training room. The training room will open 2 hours prior to match time.  Please contact us in advance to make arrangements for treatments.
• Locker rooms in the Convocation Center will be made available upon request to the KSU tennis coaching staff. Locker room requests should be made prior to your arrival at KSU.

Emergencies:
In the event of an emergency, the ambulance will transport the injured party to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. If an ambulance is not necessary, but an athlete needs to go to the emergency room, please follow these directions.

· Left on Chastain Road from Kennesaw State University Drive or Frey Road.
· Right on 75 South Entrance Ramp
· 75 South to Exit 267B -- Route 5 towards Marietta
· Follow towards Route 5 (not 41)
· Road becomes Church Street.
· Follow the hospital Emergency Room signs
- Right on Witcher St
- At top of hill -- Right onto Campbell Hill Street
- ER is on the Right & Parking is on the Left
