Opened in the fall of 2005, the Kennesaw State University Convocation Center has quickly established itself as the crown jewel of the KSU Athletics facilities.

The state-of-the-art $15 million building plays hosts to the Owls volleyball and cheer programs as well as the men's and women's basketball teams. It also houses the KSU's weight room, training room, athletics administrative offices, coaches offices and newly renovated locker rooms for volleyball, and men's and women's basketball.

The men's basketball team opened the new arena on November 26, 2005 with a 76-54 victory over Clark Atlanta. The building has seen its fair share of great victories by the teams it hosts including men's basketball victories over A-Sun regular season champion Lipscomb and tournament champion Belmont as well as women's basketball wins over Mercer, Gardner-Webb and Longwood.

The 4,400-seat Convocation Center is also the home of the university's fall and spring graduation ceremonies. The two-year old arena has already hosted an exhibition tennis match featuring Pete Sampras and Robby Ginepri as well as playing host to the Georgia Games.
